One of Lakewood Ranch’s most anticipated recreational projects is getting closer to opening.
The new Athletics and Aquatics Center at Premier Sports Campus North is expected to include:
- 24 pickleball courts
- 14 covered courts
- A competition-size swimming pool
- A therapy pool
- Locker rooms and supporting facilities
- Additional improvements to the neighboring Lakewood Ranch Library
The complex is currently targeting a fall 2026 opening, although the final timeline remains subject to change.
This is an important lifestyle addition for residents across eastern Manatee County—and another example of the parks, recreation and public amenities growing alongside Lakewood Ranch.
