Manatee County is getting its first Whole Foods Market, and the opening date is officially set.

The grocery chain announced that its new location at 7295 State Road 64 East in Bradenton will open November 5, bringing a new shopping option to the growing Heritage Harbour area.

The approximately 42,000-square-foot store will be located at Marketplace at Heritage Harbour, near the Interstate 75 and State Road 64 interchange.

Inside, shoppers can expect a full-service grocery store featuring fresh produce, specialty foods, a bakery, prepared meals, and dedicated seafood and meat departments.

The store will also carry more than 450 locally sourced products from Florida suppliers, giving shoppers access to a variety of regional brands and specialty items.

To celebrate opening day, the first 300 customers in line are expected to receive a special Whole Foods tote bag and a savings coupon.

The new store marks Whole Foods Market’s first location in Manatee County, adding another major grocery option for residents of Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Heritage Harbour, and surrounding communities.

With continued residential and commercial growth along the State Road 64 corridor, the opening is another example of how retail development is expanding to serve the area’s growing population.
