The wait is over! Life Time Lakewood Ranch officially opened its doors on Monday, October 12, bringing one of the area’s largest new fitness and wellness destinations to the community.
Located at 5000 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard North, just south of University Parkway, the new athletic country club represents a major addition to the area’s growing collection of lifestyle amenities.
And the interest was already substantial before opening day.
According to opening-week reporting, nearly 3,000 people had signed up for memberships before the facility welcomed its first members.
The new location also employs more than 200 people, adding another significant employer to the Lakewood Ranch area.
While the athletic club itself spans approximately 86,000 square feet, the overall destination encompasses more than 180,000 square feet when including its outdoor resort-style beach club and dedicated pickleball facilities.
Members can now experience the completed property, including its resort-style pools, waterslides, pickleball courts, fitness studios, spa, and social spaces.
For residents who have watched the project take shape over the past several months, the opening marks the transition from construction to a fully operational destination.
Life Time is located along the Lakewood Ranch Boulevard corridor, making it accessible to residents throughout Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, and Bradenton.
The opening is another example of the continued investment in lifestyle amenities throughout the region.
