A brand-new Publix officially opened its doors on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at SeaFlower Village Center in southwest Bradenton, marking another major milestone for the growing SeaFlower community.
Located at 7535 Cortez Road West, the new 50,325-square-foot supermarket offers a full-service deli, bakery, seafood department, pharmacy with a drive-thru, and an adjacent Publix Liquors.
The store is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., providing another convenient grocery shopping option for residents throughout southwest Bradenton and the surrounding neighborhoods.
But the new Publix is only part of a much larger commercial development taking shape at SeaFlower Village Center.
Additional businesses planned for the shopping center include Dutch Bros Coffee, Whataburger, Potbelly, Playa Bowls, and Dave’s Hot Chicken. These businesses are part of the center’s anticipated retail lineup, although individual opening dates have not all been confirmed.
The new shopping center is expected to serve both existing neighborhoods and the growing SeaFlower community, bringing additional shopping, dining, and everyday conveniences to the Cortez Road corridor.
As development continues throughout Manatee County, projects like SeaFlower Village Center are adding more retail options closer to where residents live.
