A growing Parrish community now has another educational option to explore.
North River Charter Academy is celebrating its new permanent campus on Rutland Road with a community ribbon-cutting event on September 16.
The STEAM-focused public charter school opened during the 2025–2026 school year on a shared campus with Parrish Charter Academy. Its new facility will serve kindergarten through sixth grade for the 2026–2027 school year, with plans to add seventh grade in 2027–2028 and eighth grade the following year.
The campus was designed around modern classrooms, collaborative learning spaces and dedicated areas for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. A second building is also anticipated as part of a future expansion.
The free ribbon-cutting celebration will include family activities, inflatable attractions, local vendors, food and refreshments.
